Dude, that was a fucking awesome movie. Spock nearly got arrested for jumping into a whale tank. It made my week.
Though if it's a young Spock, I think the Captain should be Christopher Pike and not James Kirk. It makes more sense. Kirk was a young Captain even at the beginning of the original series; this is set before that.

This new movie looks awesome. The trailer looks awesome at least.

I wouldn't mind seeing a TNG remake. Picard is way more badass than Kirk.
